ME
I am Carol Forster
the mother of a dyslexic child (now 24 years old). As a qualified
teacher, I have always been involved with his teaching and have
tried to help him in whatever way I can. During my teaching career
I have taught people from 2 to 73 all over the world. I have always
leaned towards those with learning differences. There were always
children (including my son) who did not respond well to the conventional
methods I had trained in.
So I was very
excited when I found the book 'The Gift of Dyslexia' by Ron Davis.
This certainly changed my attitude, and made me realise that dyslexia
has a very positive side. I was then lucky enough to hear Ron speak,
and decided to train as a facilitator.
